Key Responsibilities

  • Authorize or coordinate the approval of various financial instruments, including loans.
  • Generate financial and regulatory reports in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
  • Review and enhance financial reporting systems and operational procedures.
  • Prepare risk management reports for executive review.
  • Direct and coordinate risk management and insurance programs to minimize losses.
  • Assess collection reports to monitor outstanding balances and collection status.
  • Lead negotiations with insurance providers and manage insurance placements.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term financial and HR strategies.
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve financial and HR processes.
  • Align financial and HR objectives with the overall business strategy.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and implement best practices for efficiency.

  • Oversee daily financial and HR operations to achieve business goals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for enhancement and implement corrective measures.
  • Establish and maintain financial management systems, including regular audits.
  • Manage HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
  • Work closely with HR personnel to ensure alignment with industry best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Expertise in municipal financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and auditing.
  • Understanding of revenue and tax administration principles.
  • 10+ years of relevant industry experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience is essential.
  • Standard office environment with occasional exposure to various elements.

This position is a full-time, in-office role with standard working hours.
