Key Responsibilities

- Manage the flow of financial resources and instruments effectively.
- Analyze cost data to develop and implement budget plans.
- Establish protocols for the safeguarding of assets, records, and securities.
- Conduct financial assessments to evaluate the organization's current and future financial health.
- Authorize or coordinate the approval of various financial instruments, including loans.
- Generate financial and regulatory reports in compliance with applicable laws and standards.
- Review and enhance financial reporting systems and operational procedures.
- Prepare risk management reports for executive review.
- Direct and coordinate risk management and insurance programs to minimize losses.
- Assess collection reports to monitor outstanding balances and collection status.
- Lead negotiations with insurance providers and manage insurance placements.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to define long-term financial and HR strategies.
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to improve financial and HR processes.
- Align financial and HR objectives with the overall business strategy.
- Stay informed on industry trends and implement best practices for efficiency.
- Promote a culture of integrity, innovation, and teamwork.
- Oversee daily financial and HR operations to achieve business goals.
- Lead cross-functional teams to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Analyze financial data to identify opportunities for enhancement and implement corrective measures.
- Establish and maintain financial management systems, including regular audits.
- Manage HR functions such as recruitment, payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Work closely with HR personnel to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Human Resources, Business, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Familiarity with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Expertise in municipal financial management, including accounting, budgeting, and auditing.
- Understanding of revenue and tax administration principles.
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is essential.
- Standard office environment with occasional exposure to various elements.
This position is a full-time, in-office role with standard working hours.
