Key Responsibilities:- Support the Human Resources Manager in screening, recruiting, and interviewing candidates.
- Facilitate the onboarding and training processes for new hires.
- Assist in managing performance evaluations and appraisals.
- Maintain accurate employee records and files.
- Collaborate with management on staffing requirements and team development initiatives.
- Prepare and provide management with necessary reports and documentation.
- Organize events aimed at recognizing employee contributions.
- Help implement and uphold company culture, values, and policies.
- Initiate programs designed to boost employee satisfaction and retention.
- Assist in organizing training sessions for staff development.
- Support the Human Resources Manager in addressing employee grievances and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Track attendance and manage related documentation.
- Experience in Human Resources, recruitment, or related fields.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and candidate sourcing.
- Understanding of labor laws at both state and federal levels.
- Ability to establish rapport with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and both Apple and PC platforms.
- A proactive learner with a desire to understand and improve processes.
- Thrives in dynamic environments and adapts well to change.
- Exhibits sound judgment and the ability to analyze issues effectively.
- Experience in the mitigation or construction industry is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business is preferred.
- Minimum requirement: High School Diploma.
Hourly pay ranges from $22 to $25, based on experience and adaptability.
