Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic HR partnership and services across various site locations.
  • Lead and influence a team of HR professionals dedicated to supporting all levels of management and staff.
  • Establish and nurture effective relationships with leadership and employees to address employee-related and organizational issues.
  • Design and implement diverse Human Resource initiatives to align with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive recruiting strategies in collaboration with hiring managers to attract top talent.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and provide training on HR self-service tools.
  • Collaborate with HR functional teams, payroll, and benefits administrators to resolve employee issues.
  • Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on various HR topics.
  • Offer guidance and support on employee relations and HR-related matters.
  • Encourage open communication and feedback through employee surveys and meetings.
  • Oversee termination processes and manage reduction in force activities.
  • Support local engagement initiatives and assist in planning team-building activities.
  • Lead special projects that enhance the HR function.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to build trust and work effectively with employees and management at all levels.
  • Strong ethical standards and confidentiality regarding employee and business matters.
  • Ability to forge strong partnerships with line managers.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, and HRIS systems.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong follow-up capabilities.
  • Familiarity with employee benefit plans.
  • Experience in training and group facilitation.
  • Bi-lingual skills, particularly in Spanish, are advantageous.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field; PHR/SPHR certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years of HR Generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
  • At least 3 years of HR Management experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily conducted in an office environment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to engage in prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
