Important Position Expectations: Travel is a requirement and candidates should expect, on average, 6-8 Regional event travel assignments (of approximately 3-5 days each) working in Boutique or Stage Team Social Media Support, 1-2 National event travel assignments (of approximately 6-8 days each), and 3-4 On-Call weekends for Social Media event support throughout the year, which will typically occur during our in-season of January – July. Must be okay sharing a hotel room with a same-gender colleague. The Successful Spotlight Team Member: Successful Spotlight team members are committed to effective and proactive communication principles. They work cross-functionally with tact, diplomacy, integrity, and professionalism. Personal organization, time management, attention to detail, follow-through, and general project management processes are followed regularly. When needed, they can manage multiple priorities, work independently or in a team, work with time-sensitive projects and demands simultaneously, while prioritizing long-term projects and deadlines. Being positive, flexible, and adaptable with critical thinking and problem-solving skills is necessary for success. Having superior customer service skills as well as the ability to identify efficiencies and opportunities for improvement are a must. They pride themselves on their ability to exhibit the Spotlight core values and become a reliable, dependable, and trustworthy team member. Responsibilities: In conjunction with the CEO, oversee daily departmental operations including external advertising, event marketing, digital marketing, and cross-promotion marketing. Manage Marketing Team including up to three direct reports and several dotted line reports. Partner and collaborate with Client Engagement Services team to deliver sales goals and client retention. Create, manage, and track KPIs for all aspects of sales and marketing initiatives. Leverage our target customers to build the overall reputation of our brands with enhanced engagement strategies. Strategic targeted marketing plan fully developed and ready for launch by April each year. Primary marketing window is May-October each year. This position will require travel to our events and trade organization conventions as well as 4-5 On-Call weekends for Social Media event support. Qualifications: Proven management skills, with the ability to lead, manage, and hold self and others accountable to workload output and implementation. Solid understanding of sales & marketing principles with a core focus on understanding our 3 primary customer demographics and how to speak to them independently. Ability to develop department operational processes and procedures to support Company’s strategic goals. Ability to execute corporate marketing initiatives on time with exceptional follow-through. Experience with effective and persuasive sales copywriting across multiple platforms including but not limited to email marketing, digital ads, print ads, and websites. Extensive knowledge of promoting Ecommerce sales for revenue growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
