Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Business Development to identify, assess and prioritize client needs, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Establish trusted advisor relationships with clients, understand client business challenges, craft tailored solutions, and apply a consulting orientation to drive operational excellence. Advise clients on leading practices for building workforce capabilities, leadership pipelines, streamlining processes, and aligning organizational design with business strategy. Evaluate client project opportunities and write or coordinate proposal responses to meet the identified need. Develop project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, and ensure on-time, high-quality deliverable execution while managing client expectations. Design and lead client projects including diagnostics and monitoring to ensure customer satisfaction and organization financial goals are met. Oversee the creation of strategic roadmaps, implementation plans, organizational assessments and change management approaches to ensure successful transformation initiatives. Lead complex analysis, modeling workforce demand/supply, designing job roles/competencies, and recommending optimal organizational structures. Ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining high standards of quality.

Measure client’s view of quality, execution excellence, and impact for their organization and constituents. Manage a portfolio of organizational strategy projects such as workforce planning, succession planning, process improvement, workload analysis, strategic planning, departmental assessments, and organizational design. Develop team's technical and consulting capabilities through coaching, mentoring, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning through a collaborative team approach. Contribute to Organizational Strategy practice development by identifying new service offerings, methodologies, and tools to expand organizational strategy capabilities. Travel Requirements

CPS HR, headquartered in Sacramento, CA, offers this remote position, which requires travel as needed to meet client demands, estimated at about four days per month. Skills and Expertise Expertise in process analysis, change management, and implementing large-scale transformation projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities. Exceptional client service, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage teams and develop high-performing consultants. Experience with data analysis, modeling, and visualization tools. Knowledge of HR metrics, analytics, and workforce planning methodologies. Strategic mindset with the ability to link solutions to desired business outcomes. Knowledge of or experience in the public or non-profit sector. Education Bachelor's degree required Master's degree in Organizational Development, HR Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred Experience 10 years of management consulting experience delivering workforce planning, organizational design, and development solutions

Experience and Education: Any combination of experience and education that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be:

Experience: Four years of professional experience in the field of specialization, with expert-level knowledge of the services and products provided by the assigned business unit, and strong working relationships with and an excellent reputation among the targeted client group.

Education: Equivalent to master’s degree in a relevant field.
