Leads the tactical direction concerning pricing for a PEO Region by partnering with PEO Sales & PEO Operations (e.g. Underwriting, HR Services, Training, Strategy) to ensure the organization maximizes pricing and attachment of PEO products in order to achieve regional and company financial goals and objectives. Understands and supports the needs of the General Manager of the PEO region; has advanced understanding of related finance or operational systems.
Responsibilities
- Performs complex finance functions for PEO. Compiles and analyzes detailed PEO financial information. Develops and publishes complex integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, and reports; recommends improvements for methods and procedures. Creates and analyzes complex monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Responsible for the development of new accounting/financial reconciliations and analyses.
- Reviews PEO deals to ensure they have been priced effectively to increase the percentage of deals close and help drive product attachment and profitability, including the attachment of all services (WC, Health, 401k, EPLI etc.).
- Provides competitive PEO market intelligence for the key markets within their region. Partners with General Manager and Zone Manager on appropriate strategy based on market intelligence.
- Acts as the traffic manager to move prospects to the best fit Paychex solution (i.e. PEO, ASO, payroll, SurePayroll)
- Develops a communication strategy for the region to enable consistency in pricing best practices.
- Acts as escalation resource to resolve partnership issues quickly and effectively.
- Processes pricing and service escalations for the Region within Client Space.
- Assists with development, implementation, and maintenance of appropriate accounting and internal controls and recommends improvements.
- Coordinates special projects, including procedural changes and system implementation.
- Excellent communicator, creative problem solver, ability to produce and manipulate complex financial analyses.
- Mustbe able to present compelling pricing/strategy options for new prospects and internal upsells.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, Prism, Flex, Client Space, Sales Force.
- Working with Mid Market Clients (50 Worksite employees).
- Data Driven - 401K, medical, specialty services.
- Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
- 5 years of experience in Experience developing and implementing effective processes, procedures, and training programs, the ability to be an effective team leader, manage multiple projects simultaneously and coordinate activities in multiple locations.
- 2 years of experience in Knowledge of PEO, Pricing, and Sales practices and personnel.
- Demonstrates analytical skills.
- Strong verbal communication and listening skills.
In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $79,800.00 - [redacted],000.00 salary. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
