About The Role

As the Marketing Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for daily coordination, tracking and analysis of the marketing technology stack with the goal of fostering an impactful and seamless member experience. Under the direction of the Director of Marketing, you will support the digital marketing strategy by performing regular analysis/reporting of campaign metrics, suggesting improvements where necessary, and maintaining and updating the marketing technology systems. You will serve as the liaison between Marketing and IT, technically facilitating reliable communication between marketing platforms and data sources.

This position is on-premise and based at our headquarters office in Ventura, CA, but may offer ability for a limited hybrid schedule.Employees at VCCU uphold our Shared Values and work onsite for the best benefit of our membership and community partners.

What You'll Do
  • Responsible for data extraction, manipulation, and aggregation to facilitate a flexible reporting environment and assist leadership in the development of future strategies. Defines requirements, creates reporting templates, and manages the delivery of a wide range of consumer insight analytics in a dynamic environment while consistently seeking to optimize data queries.
  • Manage and maintain marketing technology platforms, including Member Data Platforms, Marketing Automation, CRM, and analytics tools. Provide technical expertise and support in building and maintaining connections between data sources, marketing platforms, and reporting platforms. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the marketing technology stack, acting as the liaison between Marketing and Technology.
  • Manage and maintain the member database, including identifying target audiences for campaigns and segmenting the audience accordingly. Optimizes, monitors, evaluates, and evolves marketing campaigns to be relevant to targeted audience segments on an ongoing basis. Creates and manages lead scoring and lead nurturing programs to increase lead conversion rates.
  • Provide support for the information and analytical needs of Marketing through data mining, profiling, targeting/segmentation, statistical measurements, list generation, report generation, and response tracking. Conduct research and comparecompetitors' services and products with that of the Credit Union, analyzing membership baseand product and service usage.
  • Lead the development, implementation, coordination, tracking, and analysis of internal and external marketing campaigns. Make recommendations on marketing procedures, policies, promotions, products, and services to the Director of Marketing.
What We're Seeking
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of Marketing experience required, including 3+ years of direct experience managing a marketing automation software & database.
    • Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, Meta reporting, and Office 365 Suite (Windows, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • 1-3 years of working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, HTTP Methods/REST API
  • Must have general knowledge of the Credit Union industry, customer service, sales, and marketing.
