We are seeking a self-motivated Customer Care Specialist. The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for learning all aspects of consumer/customer service interaction, ensuring he/she attains the highest levels of satisfaction.

At Foundations, there is limitless opportunity and plenty of room to grow. The following describes some of the core activities you will perform:

  • Day-to-day administration of the order management process:
    • Review, prepare and process sales orders
    • Resolve shipping method, pricing and payment term issues
    • Generate and track product shipments, as well as process returns
    • Provide necessary information to both internal and external customers
    • Assist in completion of EDI and international orders
  • Assist consumers with post-sale service (i.e. warranty, reviewing assembly instructions, identifying any other issues)
  • Prioritize, manage, coordinate, and monitor customer orders to exceed customer expectations
  • Provide freight quotes and order tracking details to customers
  • Develop high level of product knowledge to ensure timely resolution of consumer issues and demonstrate efficient communication
  • Work with field sales, pricing administration, distribution center, and customers to resolve issues which delay on-time shipments
  • Other tasks as assigned by manager
Requirements

To be successful in this role, we are looking for the following:
  • 2+ years data entry/administrative or customer service experience
  • High school degree required
  • Excellent typing, ten key, computer skills (MS Office) and aptitude a must
  • Highly organized and a demonstrated problem solver
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency to complete work
  • Perform well within a deadline-driven and results-orientated environment
  • Must be detail-orientated and have a high degree of accuracy while multitasking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Requires extensive telephone use
  • Strong follow-through and teamwork skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Knowledge of ERP/MRP and MAS500 system a plus, but not required
