About the Role:

The Presbyterian Homes & Services is seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily work orders and complete tasks in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct regular building and equipment maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance
  • Participate in life safety compliance routines and ensure all facilities meet regulatory requirements
  • Assist with painting, apartment turns, and other projects as assigned
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident requests in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in commercial or residential building maintenance
  • Ability to work independently, multitask, and follow directions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies
