This role is essential in providing guidance to business units for investment decisions, performing financial reviews, conducting benchmarking, and offering cost-benefit analysis. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, with a focus on processing a high volume of complex invoices and supporting a project to automate and shift manual invoices to Purchase Orders. Key Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices (approximately 2,000 invoices/year) and support process improvement initiatives. Perform complex financial reviews, cost center allocation, and direct chargeback code management. Assist in the automation of manual processes and interface with Procurement to Pay teams. Utilize Workday Financials and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting. Provide data entry support, although most tasks are complex and require detailed attention. Collaborate with the manager and team members to ensure seamless workflow and process enhancements.

Qualifications:

Experience in large corporate environments, with a strong understanding of financial details. Prior experience with Workday Financials and strong proficiency in MS Excel. Familiarity with Accounts Payable processes is highly beneficial. Ability to help automate processes and improve existing workflows. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Candidates:

Local to Madison, WI, with the ability to work on a hybrid schedule (at least 2 days/week onsite at home office). Preference for onsite days to be Monday & Wednesday.
