Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst - The Auto Club Group
What you will do:Prepares in-depth financial analyses and research to support and facilitatetimely management decisions and/or financial reports or statements. Analyzesand evaluates financial implications of business decisions or transactions onfinancial results. Researches, evaluates and interprets financial data usingadvanced and emerging financial techniques and tools. Develops and manipulatescomplex financial models for support and analysis of business initiatives.Works with departments to ensure an understanding of financial consequencesresulting from various actions. Provides support for internal and externalauditors by preparing complex analytical schedules, responding toinquiries, researching issues and implementing recommended changes.Develops, designs, tests and documents system changes or upgrades.Represents finance on corporate teams and initiatives.
Asset Control & ReportingProvides support to various accounting activities including journal entries,analysis and reconciliation of complex, higher risk general ledger and bankaccounts and/or bank accounting, variance explanations, etc.
Financial ReportingPrepares complex journal entries, complex/higher risk accountreconciliations and participates in month-end procedures. Performs employeebenefit accounting and reporting. Prepares and balances the insurance companyAnnual Statement supplemental schedules filed with the regulators.
Supervisory Responsibilities:None
Work EnvironmentThis position is currently able to work remotely from a home office locationfor day-to-day operations unless occasional travel for meetings,collaborative activities, or team building activities is specified byleadership. This is subject to change based on amendments and/ormodifications to the ACG Flex Work policy.
