Job Description:

The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Vice President of Finance and be responsible for financial reporting, general accounting, regulatory and tax compliance, M&A integration support, vendor payments and ensuring the delivery of timely and accurate financial statements and related analysis. This leadership role will be a critical partner to the Vice President of Finance as the company continues to scale organically and through acquisition.

Essential job functions and duties, including but not limited to:
  • Responsible for coordination and completion of month-end Close activities according to tight deadlines
  • Responsible for the preparation and delivery of the financial reporting and analysis to Corporate and Branch Management, US Regional office and Group office in Sweden
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Company's accounting policies and procedures for adherence to relevant GAAP
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records and safeguarding of company assets
  • Responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable, core employee expense reports, and all internal purchases, including capital expenditures
  • Support financial and tax audits
  • Assist with the integration of acquired entities
  • Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive team environment
  • Must be able to apply sound judgment beyond a specific set of instructions and apply knowledge to different factual situations
  • Manage a team of direct reports, including staff accountants and AP specialist, and a customer facing Billing & Collections team supervisor; ensure the team is focused and motivated
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, CPA (preferred)
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience with accrual accounting required, acquisition integration experience preferred
  • Financial Management experience required
Required Skills
  • Experience with financial modeling preferred
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and IBM Cognos Controller, preferred
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite of products, in particular, Excel and Word
  • Ability and willingness to keep and maintain confidential information
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and continuous process improvement mindset.
  • Must be able to multitask, prioritize, and organize efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Be able to work in a team-based environment
  • Have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards safely and successfully
  • Regular and punctual attendance
  • Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone
Physical Requirements
  • Requires constant (67% - 100% of the time) sitting, standing, walking, reaching writing and typing
  • Requires constant ability to move freely about the office
  • Requires hearing and vision corrected to normal range
  • Requires ability to constantly operate office equipment
  • Requires gross motor coordination and finger dexterity
