Job Overview

We're seeking a dedicated Human Resources Coordinator to join our Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing HR functions, developing and implementing employee training programs, and supporting department leaders in various HR processes.

Pay Rate: $19 - $21 per hour - FULL TIME

Key Responsibilities

  • HR Management & Compliance
    • Maintain personnel files and records in accordance with policies and legal requirements
    • Perform data entry in ADP for employee records, benefits, and transactions
    • Coordinate with Command HR Department for approvals on hiring, status changes, and terminations
    • Investigate and report on workplace incidents, including injuries, accidents, and grievances
  • Payroll & Benefits
    • Maintain accurate payroll records using HRIS
    • Coordinate employee benefits and assist with registration and claims
    • Supervise payroll preparation and manage employee database
  • Recruitment & Onboarding
    • Support department leaders in the staffing process from recruitment to exit interviews
    • Maintain job listings and process applications for new hires
    • Conduct new employee orientations and Safe From Harm training
  • Training & Development
    • Implement and conduct HR training for management and supervisory staff
    • Support ARC's safety programs with training plans and curriculum
    • Administer the Safe From Harm program
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide secretarial support to Administrators
    • Manage office supplies and equipment
    • Prepare reports and statistics as needed

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in HR Management, Business Management, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in HR Management or Business Management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Knowledge of ADP timekeeping software (preferred)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient computer skills and manual dexterity
Work Environment
  • Primary work in an office setting with occasional travel to Family Store locations
  • Moderate noise levels in warehouse areas
