We are responsible for programming a wide variety of opportunities to compete across our games' ecosystems, from casual and cash-prized in-game tournaments to championship competitions with FNCS and RLCS.
What You'll Do

As a Competitive Operations Coordinator, your work will ensure daily operational tasks are completed and processes followed to support ranked and tournament initiatives across multiple games. You will execute the vision of internal Competitive stakeholders, while collaborating closely with ancillary teams across our Game Integrity, Player Support, Finance, and Publishing teams. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to grasp new concepts swiftly and efficiently accomplish tasks within strict timeframes.
In this role, you will
  • Perform daily operations, set-up, and support tasks of Epic Games hosted tournaments for Fortnite, Rocket League, Fall Guys, Sideswipe, and/or other titles and future competitive games developed with UEFN from conception to conclusion
  • Maintain communications and conversational channels with competitive players across multiple ecosystems and cohorts, ensuring our competitive players are heard and feedback is understood internally
  • Review official rules for Epic Games hosted tournaments, including proactive drafting for risk reduction of gameplay and operational factors
  • Proactively identify and solve tournament system errors or esports operational processes
  • Scaling competitive servers based on player population estimations
  • Work during live tournaments providing support and crisis resolution actions to support players during our ongoing global tournament inventory
  • Work with 3rd party event organizers, partners, vendors, players and talent as needed
What we're looking for
  • 2+ years experience creating, organizing, and executing large scale open tournaments
  • Extremely organized, proactive, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to deliver consistent, error-free, excellent work
  • Excellent communication and software skills (GSuite, Airtable, Slack,)
  • Determined attitude, finding creative ways to quickly solve problems with minimal resources in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Adaptability to frequent change of new plans and ideas
  • Strong passion for Epic Games, esports, and competitive gaming
