Role Summary: This role is primarily accountable for overseeing various administrative functions within the finance department. The position demands a high level of confidentiality as it involves handling sensitive financial documents, payments, and branch revenue. The ideal candidate should be adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, including phone communications, email correspondence, and addressing office requirements efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage all billing activities
- Review contracts to ensure compliance with necessary requirements and deadlines
- Prepare sales tax reports and invoices
- Familiarity with billing platforms such as GC Pay, Textura, and others as required
- Set up contracts
- Order bonds and manage consent of surety documentation, including quarterly bond reporting
- Facilitate job closeouts
- Support office events as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Education/Experience: High school diploma required; additional education or relevant experience in accounting is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience in billing processes
- Notary certification is advantageous
- Background in finance is essential
