Part-Time Corporate Receptionist

Responsibilities
Altec is currently looking for a Part-Time Corporate Receptionist in Birmingham, AL to join our team (26 – 30 hours per week). The schedule will be 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Wednesday through Friday.
This position provides administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Corporate Receptionist answering and fielding calls throughout the company
- Greet, direct, and register all visitors, ensuring that each visitor is signed in and given a visitor badge prior to being allowed access to the building
- Answer questions via phone and from visitors regarding Altec
- Receive and distribute mail to appropriate individual/department
- Assist with meeting room preparation and catered lunches
- Assist with administrative tasks supporting the Corporate HR team
- All other duties as assigned
Education, Experience, and Skills Required
- High School Diploma or GED Required
- Two years’ experience required
- Four-year degree may substitute for experience requirement (and is the preferred education)
- Microsoft Office Suite and other office management applications required
- Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
- Must be able to work with team members and work with minimal supervision
