Loftware is expanding its worldwide 24x7 Cloud Operations Team and seeks a technically proficient English speaking Cloud Implementation Analyst/Advisor with strong AWS knowledge (preferably also with familiarity in Azure) and robust networking skills to support the various Loftware Departments.

Acting as the primary interface for Loftware Cloud, the Cloud Implementation Analyst/Advisor Consultant will be "the face" of Loftware Cloud and will require excellent verbal and written skills providing comprehensive support to Sales, Pre-Sales, Implementation, Support, and Customer Success Teams by answering questions and attending meetings and audits. This role demands exceptional interpersonal skills, adeptness in handling technical matters, and a collaborative spirit.

The Cloud Liaison Consultant is someone that is a team player with the desire and passion for modern technology and keen to take on large-scale responsibility for the cloud environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Sales and Pre-Sales teams by addressing RFI/RFP cloud inquiries, contributing to question library enhancements (Loopio).
  • Participate in customer/prospect audits of our cloud environment, providing insights on Loftware Cloud.
  • Engage in customer-facing technical meetings during the sales cycle, explaining architecture and security aspects of Loftware Cloud.
  • Troubleshoot customer connectivity issues, configuring VPNs to ensure seamless integration with Loftware cloud.
  • Assist in customer-facing technical meetings for implementation, support, and customer success, ensuring smooth deployment and operations.
  • Provide troubleshooting expertise for cloud-related issues, actively participating in resolution effort.
  • Manage and respond to communications within CloudOps email group, ensuring effective coordination.
Required qualifications/knowledge:
  • Database: PostgreSQL Microsoft SQL Server
  • Scripting: Python, Java, Bash, .NET/C#, Powershell
  • IAC and Automation: Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, Rundeck, Jenkins
  • Container Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes
  • Cloud-native technologies: RDS, Microservices, Serverless computing
  • While knowledge of Label Printing or Supply Chain is beneficial, the focus lies on understanding the connectivity requirements of our cloud solutions with external data systems and devices. Proficiency in networking and connectivity is crucial.
  • This role entails tackling recurring challenges encompassing reliability, scalability, incident diagnosis, security, and environmental factors. Innovative problem-solving abilities and collaboration with cross-functional teams are essential.
  • Critical to the business strategy of embracing cloud solutions, this role bridges the gap by providing support to departments transitioning to cloud-first approaches.
  • As a customer-facing role supporting departments lacking technical expertise, strong interpersonal skills are vital. The ability to articulate complex technical concepts in layman's terms is essential for effective communication.
