Essential Duties and Responsibilities Support the execution of strategies, programs, and policies for the category to meet short- and long-term operational requirements of the Brand Assist in providing sourcing execution, enhancing business opportunities with respect to procurement timeline, budget, quality, risk, etc. Enable supplier engagement by supporting RFI/RFP process, including bid and cost benefit analysis Support the execution of key contracts in alignment with sourcing strategies to create the best value for the products being sourced Manage the timely submission of pricing in accordance with the set pricing guidelines Analyze spend, industry information and other data to identify portfolio optimization opportunities Foster effective relationships and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to build alignment on strategic initiatives and projects Engage with key supply chain teams, including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Distribution and Logistics, to support organizational and Brand goals to maximize value and efficiency

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to be solutions oriented, proactive, results driven and a self-starter that can work with little supervision Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of trust and confidence Ability to analyze large data sets, identify trends, and communicate results to a variety of audiences Strategic Sourcing Manager Proven success as an effective communicator throughout the organization and across multi-level personnel both internally and externally Detail oriented with the ability to accurately multi-task to meet deadlines Ability to work independently or effectively in a team

Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Food Science, or related field required. Master’s degree preferred Minimum five plus (5+) of experience in strategic sourcing/procurement required Proven track record of success in executing and supporting sourcing strategies Prior large organization management experience in the food services industry a plus Knowledge of variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MS Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and Business Intelligence
