We currently have an exciting opportunity as a Territory Manager-Turf Irrigation, Southwest. This reports to the National Sales Manager, Waterworks.

Job Summary:

Territory Manager-Waterworks, Great Lakes will promote and sell HARCO fittings into the water conveyance markets including water, sewer, and storm covering the states of OH, MI, IN, and KY. HARCO sells through local and national distributors with pull-through demand generated from collaboration with civil engineers, water and sewer authorities, and utility contractors. You will gain product acceptance and approvals with local users while maintaining strong distributor, municipality, and contractor relations within your assigned territory.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Develop sales plans and execute company sales strategies for new business development and sales growth through an established and targeted customer base.
  • Establish and reinforce relationships with customers including engineering firms, municipalities, contractors, and developers as well as distributor managers, salesmen, and decision makers.
  • Build brand awareness and gain brand preference for Harco fittings by attending and supporting local trade shows and events.
  • Provide product training to distributors, municipalities, and contractors.
  • Assemble, maintain, and communicate accurate and timely market information and project tracking.
  • Support service issues and product defect claims to protect company interests.
Qualifications:
  • Four-year college degree, BA or BS (or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Must live in the assigned territory and willing to travel overnight at least 2-3 nights a week.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills.
  • A professional with the ability to set priorities and to focus on objectives.
