This role will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization. This role will report directly to the US General Manager. To nail your job, you will: Provide strategic financial leadership so the business makes the right decisions and select the right initiatives and investments to maximize value Establish business review processes and provide recommendations to manage top and bottom-line profitability. Analyze current financial performance against historical data and forecasts Lead a high-performing local finance team, encompassing accounting, transactional finance, and payroll Provide insightful analysis and commentary on drivers of trading performance Design monthly reporting processes and lead the accounting team to execute with accuracy Rigorously manage and report on cash and working capital, and ensure we maintain a robust and reconciled balance sheet Deliver an accurate rolling forecast Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities Deliver a successful audit Oversee the Payroll team to ensure our employees are paid accurately and on time Oversee an effective transactional finance team that pays suppliers correctly and on time, runs an effective expenses process, and reconciles bank statements Embed a cost and cash-conscious culture across the business Ensure compliance with appropriate legislation and statutory return requirements, and with internal control policies Other tasks, duties, or special projects as assigned.
