Job Title: Mechanical Project Engineer Location: Oxford, NC Pay Range: $ 50-55/hr What’s the Job? Partner on the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment packages. Develop initial design layouts and translate them into detailed mechanical plans and drawings using AutoCAD. Analyze project requirements and perform technical calculations to optimize mechanical systems. See projects through from initial stages to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and safety protocols. Facilitate a seamless handover of completed projects to the Operations team. Collaborate with the Operational Excellence Team to drive continuous process improvement. What’s Needed? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field. 3+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Proven ability to develop detailed mechanical designs using AutoCAD. Understanding of piping systems, pumps, fans, and other industrial equipment (a plus). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
