As a key member of our team at Sartorius AG, the Production Engineering Specialist will play a crucial role in optimizing our manufacturing processes and logistics to align with operational and management standards.

This position offers an opportunity to deepen your understanding of our products while providing solutions to specific technical challenges.

The Production Engineering Specialist will actively engage in Daily Management initiatives within Operations, assisting in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities on the production floor to enhance efficiency and minimize defects.

Support the Operations team in achieving performance targets related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity metrics.


Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to address current production challenges identified in Daily Management meetings.
- Educate Manufacturing and Quality staff on best practices concerning essential manufacturing controls.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as Kaizen Events, Lean methodologies, and 5S practices.

- Lead or contribute to Technical Risk Assessments associated with Engineering Changes or New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Engage in NPI and other relevant Technical or Engineering discussions.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational roles.
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Strong skills in prioritization, planning, and time management, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Project management experience is highly desirable.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with ISO 9000 or other quality management systems.
