A DAY IN THE LIFE
- Oversees the transition from project acquisition to comprehensive design. Coordinates with external engineering firms, methodologies, and standards to guarantee the organization achieves dependable, high-quality, and safe designs, while collaborating with internal engineering teams and acting as the project lead in all design-related aspects.
- Directs the design workflow through the Issued For Construction (IFC) phase and represents the Company with the client during the design period.
- Collaborates closely with the construction management team to ensure they have the necessary design documents, quantities, and specifications to execute the project.
- Design responsibilities primarily focus on, but are not limited to, energy storage systems, underground collection networks, substations, SCADA/communication infrastructures, transmission lines, and solar photovoltaic arrays.
- Offers guidance and mentorship to project and technical staff.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited institution.
- At a minimum, candidates should possess an Engineer-In-Training (EIT or FE) certification with the potential to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within six months preferred.
- A minimum of four years of progressive experience in engineering, engineering supervision, and/or construction within a related sector (such as heavy civil, industrial, utilities, or power generation) is required.

- A Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred, particularly with a focus on construction and electrical engineering.
