Responsible for the development and delivery of technical training and drives continuous improvement methods throughout the business. Responsible for the coordination of activities necessary to accomplish training specific to the division. Will work with various office and manufacturing departments to identify areas where improvements can be made and will be responsible for developing and delivering the necessary trainings.
Coordinate and set the direction to achieve various training objectives. Responsible for the oversight of those participating in training activities. Will work in an environment where cross functional teams and empowered employees are part of the plant's culture. Position works across the entire plant organization will be key to future development of workflow efficiencies.
Responsible for the day to day coordination and implementation of training. The supervisor will support the growth, skill-building and development of all HSD employees. Specific duties include but are not limited to the following:
1. Oversee the design, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of HSD's general training programs.
2. Supervise projects from inception through implementation, including creating and assembling training materials, the logistics of training room scheduling and preparation, and the screening and recommendation of external facilitators as needed.
3. Partner with department representatives, managers and employees to develop and deliver training programs and measure performance improvement.
4. Develop and coordinate skills assessment and measurement tools; analyze program evaluations and oversee improvements for keeping training programs current.
5. Supervise Training staff in delivery of department services.
6. Coordinate and conduct classes as needed.
7. Participate in organizational and management development initiatives.
Manage the training budget by monitoring and reporting on training budget goals.
* Bachelor's degree (BA) in Human Resources, Engineering, Business, or related field
* Minimum Experience 4 to 6+ years of experience in training and development
* Excellent classroom presentation and communication skills.
* Demonstrated administrative skills.
*Demonstrated ability to work effectively across an entire production floor.
