Job Overview

Position: Manufacturing Specialist

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Compensation: $19.00 per hour

Role Summary:

Under general oversight, the Manufacturing Specialist is tasked with executing the physical and/or administrative functions related to the acquisition, storage, and distribution of materials, components, and supplies. This role also includes maintaining accurate records of materials and inventory.

Preferred Education: High school diploma or GED

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Willingness to adhere to work schedules and accommodate overtime, including weekends.
  • Proficient in reading and comprehending procedures, safety documents, instructions, and policies in English.
  • Capable of following verbal instructions and communicating effectively in English.
  • Commitment to safety practices, including good housekeeping and ergonomic standards.
  • May necessitate workplace organization and adherence to training protocols, including cross-training and teamwork.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with stamina.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Safety and Quality: proactive in identifying and addressing issues.
  • Aptitude for learning new processes, systems, and equipment.
  • Team-oriented mindset; ability to collaborate in a diverse environment and contribute to team improvement.
  • Motivated to enhance skills and advance through cross-training opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force consistently to move objects.
  • Competence in handling and sorting small component parts with good visual perception and fine motor skills.
  • High energy level and ability to follow detailed verbal and/or written instructions.
  • Capability to complete detailed documentation accurately.
  • Ability to observe and identify minute inconsistencies.
  • Skill in analyzing material and inventory challenges using independent judgment.
