Job Description We are looking for a driven and self-motivated Business Development Lead to play a critical role in identifying and cultivating new technology driven partnerships to help bring our industry-leading mass notification solutions to a broader audience. Travel to our Baltimore HQ is required for onboarding, training, and other in-person team/company activities. Candidates must be located in the Baltimore, MD area and/or within driving distance of our headquarters. A Day in the Life:

Develop and maintain a network of contacts and relationships with technology partners, industry stakeholders, and potential collaborators to explore partnership opportunities and drive engagement Use various methods (phone/email/etc.) to create interest in and schedule demonstrations for the Alertus solution Communicate the Alertus value proposition effectively and flawlessly to schedule demonstrations of Alertus solutions Identify new accounts, contacts, and business opportunities within a defined focus Own the prospecting life cycle from researching and profiling strategic accounts to scheduling demonstrations Adeptly overcome objections and drive prospective customers into the sales funnel Promote and market the Alertus solution through persistent outbound business development efforts Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to create and maintain an effective capture plan Required Skills:

Channel/VAR experience Hands-on experience with LinkedIn, DiscoverOrg, and ZoomInfo Technology Sales Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience 1-2 years experience in a business development position Experience with Salesforce Alertus Career Advantages:
