Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, engineering firms, government agencies, and industry associations. Lead the sales process from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and deal closure, ensuring alignment with customer needs and objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to tailor solutions that address the unique challenges and requirements of vertical market segments. Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in the marketplace. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the Horizontal Directional Drilling industry or related sectors. Proven track record of driving revenue growth and expanding market share in a B2B environment. Deep understanding of vertical market dynamics, customer pain points, and purchasing behaviors within the HDD industry. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organization. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed to support business development initiatives.
