GFA is seeking a motivated individual to oversee and mentor our Deposit Operations/MRC team. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily operational and electronic banking services while ensuring all work is processed within the appropriate time frames and according to regulations and policies. Depending on the candidate's education, training, and experience, the role may be offered as a Senior Specialist or Supervisor. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Handle internal and external member calls; troubleshoot accounts and electronic banking service inquiries. Provide assistance for home banking/bill payment; remote deposit capture; audio responses and mobile banking; debit questions, ACH/debit card disputes and ordering; and account corrections. Process ACH and check in-clearing; electronic payments; address/return mail and verification; IRAs. Complete levies/research/subpoenas/deposit verifications. Participate in annual abandoned property process. Process minor and notice action changes. Other duties as assigned. Additional Responsibilities: Model and promote the behaviors of the Credit Union’s core values, actively working to enhance the member and employee experience throughout the Credit Union. Participate in the Credit Union’s Community/Civic Engagement Program which requires participation in one community event each calendar year. Act as a role model for staff by completing tasks in a timely and accurate manner. Demonstrate a commitment to learning by cross-training on other functions as required. Complete and attend mandatory training and/or online assignments for regulatory compliance. Adhere to and comply with Credit Union and regulatory agencies (i.e., NCUA, State, Federal) policies and procedures. Knowledge and Skills: High School Diploma. 1+ years related work experience in the banking or credit union industry (3+ years for Senior Specialist/5+ years for Supervisor). Strong organizational and customer service skills (Exceptional for Supervisor Role). Strong verbal and written communication skills (Exceptional for Supervisor Role). Detail-oriented and the ability to work independently. Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize work, and multi-task while maintaining a high degree of detail and accuracy across many assignments (Senior Specialist/Supervisor). Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively handle complex member needs and fraud cases (Senior Specialist/Supervisor). Physical Requirements: A hybrid/remote work schedule may be considered for highly experienced candidates with substantial experience and strong performance in similar roles.
