About the Role This Data Analyst role is part of ED&I Tech Area. In this role, you will be a people leader of data practitioners and will facilitate their contribution to the overall delivery of the team's goals and priorities. You will manage pieces of work, develop data driven insights and reports that will enhance and support the objectives of the Customer Migration Portfolio. As a Data Analyst, you deeply understand the power of data to generate quality customer insight, manage information, identify trends and make decisions. You will consult with stakeholders to understand business problems and collaborate with other data practitioners to design and deliver appropriate solutions. As a Chapter Lead, you will have dual responsibilities. As Analyst (defining the what) and Chapter Lead (supporting the how) to enable and inspire a multi-disciplinary team ('Squad') to pursue its mission. You will assist with the elaboration of epics and stories in the delivery of features/capabilities. You will help drive the squad forward to achieving its mission through pulling work from the backlog that aligns to your skillset and where you can add the most value. You will leverage data analysis and modelling techniques to generate quality customer insight, manage information, identify trends and make decisions. You will be responsible for building world class capability. You’ll be a role model for our ways of working and New Ways of Leading, passionate about mentoring, empowering and developing others to be the best versions of themselves. Chapter Leads care for and nurture the growth of their chapter members to ensure they are inspired by a sense of purpose and are continually building their mastery and autonomy. Chapter Leads are not full-time managers, they work as a squad member for 60% of their time and manage people (across squads) for 40% of their time. What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Deep expertise in Systems Analysis combined with broad capability and a proven ability to innovate and adapt to the latest developments. Proven analytical skills and data-driven decision maker. Build advanced data models to solve complex problems and generate sophisticated insights, influence decision making to drive key decision making. Develop strong ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations, including the ability to tell stories and present data in digestible, logical and compelling ways. Designing technical and non-technical solutions to resolve a problem or meet a customer need. Knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation and presentation (e.g. SQL, Qlik, R, Python…). Good to have Skills: You are passionate about growing & developing others and have a proven track record in coaching and mentoring. Experience in translating requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria. Extensive experience working within cross-functional, agile or continuous delivery teams. Great written communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a simple and easy to consume manner. Great with people and know how to build and maintain relationships. You'll be able to inspire, facilitate, communicate and negotiate with ease. A desire to continuously learn new techniques and technologies, bringing innovative ideas into the Squad Ability to quickly grasp new content and the ability to translate this to your Chapter. A resilient personality and comfortable with change - able to overcome setbacks as they occur. You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
