The Financial Analyst at KCG Management Company, Inc.
will assist the Finance team by assessing and underwriting both affordable and market-rate housing initiatives, overseeing project closing diligence, managing loan extensions, renewals, and conversions, and coordinating equity capital calls.
This position requires excellent communication, analytical thinking, independent judgment, problem-solving abilities, and a foundational understanding of real estate financing.Key Responsibilities:
Underwriting and Assessment:
Engage in thorough underwriting and financial modeling for new and existing Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and Market Rate projects.
Financing Programs and Portfolio Analysis:
Monitor construction and permanent loan financing programs for emerging trends and provide insights to enhance project capital structures.
Track portfolio loan maturity dates and facilitate loan renewals and extensions.
Lead the stabilization and transition to permanent financing processes with lenders and syndicators.
Tax Credit Equity Oversight:
Manage the LIHTC equity installment tracking and ensure timely submissions for capital call funding.
Transaction Closure and Relationship Management:
Support in closing calls, diligence tracking, meeting deadlines, and ensuring transactions progress towards successful completions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to comprehensively source, document, and finalize both LIHTC and Market Rate transactions.
Industry Participation:
Attend industry conferences and engage in meetings with various financing partners as required.
Occasional travel for on-site property evaluations may be necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience in affordable housing financing and familiarity with relevant housing program regulations is advantageous, but not mandatory.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
Highly organized self-starter capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
