Summary

The Manager of Business Development will execute sales strategy for our cold chain product portfolio in NOAM. They will be an integral member of our cross-functional team including national and regional sales, marketing and R&D and packaging engineering to drive our cold chain business forward and support our long-term ambition to become the industry leading provider of sustainable cold chain solutions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sales plans. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within NOAM market. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and prospects, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions As a product specialist, provide technical sales training and execution support including the development of sales tools and collateral to the external sales team. Educate internal stakeholders on cold chain value position to drive awareness, alignment, and an expanded sales network for lead-generation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ops, logistics and customer service to ensure seamless delivery and service performance. Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, competitive activities and potential growth areas Collaborate with packaging engineering and R&D on new product development. Prepare sales forecast and budgets and provide regular updates to senior management. Collaboration with Product Management to develop comprehensive competitive positioning and value pricing plan to maximize profit delivery

Qualifications

BA in business, engineering, or a related field 5+ years in [business development/technical sales experiences] (cold chain experience preferred) Proven track record of driving successful sales for a new product or at a start-up. Preferably strong understanding of cold chain packaging, temperature-controlled storage, and logistics Ability to work independently and creatively and as part of a team in a fast-paced, unstructured environment. Excellent ability to build rapport and establish long-term relationships including strong communication and negotiation skills.
