Credit Risk Analyst

What does a successful Credit Risk Analyst do at Fiserv?

You will review and investigate incoming merchant applications- accounts to assess fraud and credit risk exposure. Coordinate risk mitigation efforts with other areas of the business such as Funding, Legal, Operations, Client Services. You will need to track and monitor incoming applications through the underwriting process, while reviewing statements, supporting clients to find solutions to credit concerns.

What you will do:
  • Negotiate collateral requirements and restructuring terms as required.
  • Resolve merchant inquiries through scheduled calls.
  • Complete special projects as assigned.
  • You will read and interpret documents.
  • You will calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
  • You will exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions and interact effectively and positively with all levels of personnel, partners, and vendors.
What you will need to have:
  • High school graduate/GED
  • You may be required to work some weekends and holidays to meet deadlines.
  • 2 years prior customer service experience
What would be good to have:
  • Associate/bachelor's degree preferably in finance or criminal justice
  • 1-year prior credit risk experience
This role is not eligible to be performed in Colorado, California, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New York or Washington.
