The Opportunity

Are you passionate about providing exceptional support in property and casualty claims? M3 is seeking a dedicated Claims Support Specialist to manage claims reporting, update claims activities, and review claims statuses.

As a Claims Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the property and casualty division's day-to-day activities. You will utilize your communication, organizational skills, and claims handling knowledge to assist clients and carriers effectively while receiving mentorship from Senior Claims Advisors.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Support and assist the Risk Management Department in servicing accounts with emphasis on new claim intake and updating carrier claims information.
  • Assist with scheduling workers' compensation claim reviews and supporting the execution of the claims review process.
  • Provide backup support/claims facilitation with clients and carriers during high-demand periods.
  • Record and document claim activity and status notes in Epic (claim payments, correspondence, closing notices, reserves, decisions, phone conversations, etc.).
  • Assess claims for proper reporting to carriers and prepare for claims reviews by proactively reviewing open claims and leading follow-up with carriers for necessary updates.
What You Will Need to Succeed
  • A combination of experience in Business/Finance/Risk Management/Insurance and a minimum of one year of GL/Auto/Property claims experience OR appropriate combination of experience with property and casualty claims handling.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Valid driver's license as defined by M3's motor vehicle safety policy.
  • Property and Casualty License or ability to obtain in 120 days.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Professional demeanor and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
