Job Description
The
Manager of Strategic Marketing
will lead efforts to evolve and elevate our marketing department’s capabilities and service offering to our internal and external clients. You will act as the local point of contact and marketing leader for our Atlanta market sales professionals, supporting their marketing and business development needs.
This role requires a heavy focus on operational excellence, leadership and sales enablement acumen. The successful candidate will lead a team of marketers to drive innovation and differentiation at every stage of the sales funnel and improve Stream’s competitive advantage in the marketplace.
This role will report to the Regional Business Development and Marketing Director, the regional Managing Director, oversee a team of three design professionals and collaborate with additional members of the regional and national marketing team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops and executes a marketing strategy that differentiates Stream locally and supports the growth of each local business line.
Serves as single point of contact for pursuits, presentations and proposals, collaborating with sales professionals to develop strategies and value propositions for proposals and presentations; defines a story framework, maps content to key messages; leverages innovative mediums/technology; directs data visualization; and, resources the right team members to ensure timely delivery.
Organizes, attends and contributes to preparation meetings with sales/service line professionals and subject matter experts to strategically participate and gain key input for critical marketing efforts.
Develops new and innovative ways to present Stream in the marketplace and differentiate throughout the business development cycle.
Ensures effective PR placement opportunities across all business lines either through in-house resources or 3rd party agencies.
Leverages team creativity, outside resources and national platform to identify best-in-class, cutting edge marketing tactics and formats that distinguish Stream from its competitors.
Works collaboratively with internal stakeholders and marketing team members against strict deadlines.
Manages multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction to the satisfaction of internal clients.
Ensures strict adherence to quality control methods and department processes required for the production of quality work product and timely delivery of submittals/ deliverables.
Initiates and leads discussions with internal clients to drive a strategic marketing approach that helps to facilitate new business opportunities
Oversees the development and production of creative/marketing collateral that adheres to corporate brand standards.
Serves as the local brand champion, ensuring brand and logo integrity in all created materials.
Directs, coaches, evaluates and mentors marketing personnel to ensure they are meeting/exceeding expectations.
Continuously evaluates marketing resources to ensure optimal support is consistently delivered; measuring workflow efficiencies through project management programs in place.
Interfaces and cultivates trusted relationships with local leadership and sales professionals and will provide marketing training and guidance when needed.
Qualifications
Strong presence with a focus on and passion for consultative proactive marketing
Track record of sophisticated strategic marketing and business development experience
Proven experience leading and managing a high-functioning team
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities
Expert level experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
Experience with digital marketing, marketing automation, CRM and other sales enablement technology
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Excellent project management and organizational skills
Understanding of and commitment to superior client service (internally and externally)
Upholds the highest standards in spelling, grammar, syntax and style
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with demanding workload
Ability to function as a player/coach
Ability to listen in a way that builds and maintains rapport with internal and external clients
A minimum of 5 years related experience, with emphasis on marketing within the professional services realm
Commercial real estate industry experience a strong plus
Bachelor’s degree/master’s degree, preferably in marketing
