Metric Environmental seeks a detail-oriented and organized marketing professional with experience in crafting compelling proposals that secure exciting project contracts and propel our environmental impact. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will be responsible for the coordination and preparation of proposals, including responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), requests for qualification (RFQs), letters of intent (LOIs), and firm teaming requests. You will be tasked with content creation and development for firm-wide resumes and project profiles. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our corporate marketing efforts. Assignments will include writing, research, data gathering, and the execution of select marketing initiatives and campaigns. This role is integral to our business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills to translate complex environmental solutions into clear, persuasive narratives that grab the attention of decision-makers. Essential Functions: Implements and oversees the development of marketing and sales strategy related to direct and indirect firm responses to RFP, RFQ, and LOIs (including proposal kick-off meetings). Implements and oversees resumes and project profiles firm-wide (SOP development, creation, revisions, and file management). Manages opportunity tracking in the CRM system and follows up with senior managers on pending proposals. Creates concepts for and coordinates the production of collateral materials for firm responses. Develops and maintains marketing information systems (client files, resume and project description files, mailing list, etc.). Works with technical staff to develop proposal sections and scopes of work and coordinates with senior managers for scope and fees, if needed. Develops and assembles qualifications packages of existing marketing materials. Writes and organizes proposal sections and general marketing correspondence. Tracks leads and opportunities in CRM system and maintains the CRM database. Helps develop a strategy on project-specific marketing activities and coordinates production of project marketing support materials (proposals, presentations, etc.). With input from firm senior management, establishes marketing policies and procedures. Provides other clerical functions for general office support as needed. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or journalism with 1 to 3 years of experience, or relevant experience and education may be substituted. Must have the ability to work well with others, especially department managers, project managers, and anyone involved in business development efforts. The ability to express ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical people. Detail-oriented and highly organized. Ability to manage last-minute and urgent requests. Ability to operate under tight deadlines and prioritize. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Artistic and graphic ability. Experience with print production techniques. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Illustrator. Experience with WordPress, MailChimp, and Canva. Experience in the AEC industry is preferred.
