As a key member of the
Accounting Team

Senior Account
ant
will assist with all accounting
and
reporting
activities for the Company’s corporate &
brokerage
segments
.

help
in the execution of
our financial reporting, maintain a system of accounting records

RESPONSIBILITIES
Actively participate in the monthly and quarterly close process,
including
;
Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly journal
entries
Perform variance analysis and account
reconciliations
Assist in maintenance and close
of
general ledger and
of all
subledgers
Assist in the preparation of
monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements that are accurate and produced in a timely manner in accordance with
GAAP
Support operational finance functions i.e.,
AR/AP
, T&E,
Compensation,
Bank Reconciliations, Fixed/Intangible Assets

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
3
+
years’ experience
in accounting/reporting
Bachelor’s
d
egree in
a
ccounting
,

inance
or related field
s
Certified Public Accountant or progressing towards certification,
preferred
A solid understanding of US GAAP, general
accounting
and internal controls
Strong
verbal and written communication skills
Advanced Excel skills
Insurance industry background a plus
