Job Summary

As a Senior Accountant at CARTI, you will be a key member of our accounting team, responsible for providing financial support and guidance to our organization. This role will involve a range of accounting functions, including financial reporting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  2. Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decisions.
  3. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and efficiency.
  4. Payroll Administration: Process payroll for all employees, and maintain accurate payroll records.
  5. Account Reconciliations: Prepare and review account reconciliations, including bank statements and credit card statements.
  6. Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans and strategies to support business growth and objectives.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  2. Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a not-for-profit or health industry setting.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and accounting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with complex spreadsheets and pivot tables.
  4. Certifications: CPA license or Masters of Accountancy preferred.
