The Regional Sales Manager is a position that is critical to the company's success. By building relationships with distribution partners, mastering Piusi and competitive product specifications and developing a thorough understanding of an array of fuel system applications, the Regional Sales Manager position is directly responsible for the growth of the designated region.

Specific region will be determined based off of candidate's location, experience and desired focus. Takes ownership of designated region; builds and assists distributors with organizational skills, account strategies, territory planning and administrative responsibilities to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction is maintained. Grows existing and underperforming distributors in designated region based on target amounts. Develops new distributors in designated region based on target numbers and sales projections. Becomes actively involved in new distributor sales orientation and sales training programs. Manages Manufacturer Representatives (inside or third party/independent) in designated region, providing training and other functions for them to be successful. Acts as a resource to distributors in contract opportunities and proposals. Assists with the planning of trade shows; attends trade shows. Coordinates and assists in leading sales meetings to include site selection and agenda preparation. Keeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customers. Checks on competitive activity and develops new methods of attaining distributors and assisting distributors in attaining new accounts. Troubleshoots problems regarding products provided, or assures that service technician troubleshoot product issues. Answers questions from distributors and handles complaints. Performs other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time. Competencies Customer/Client Focus. Communication Proficiency. Performance Management. Business Acumen. Supervisory Responsibility This position requires the supervision of Regional Manufacturer’s Representatives and in the future may require the supervision of Regional Internal Sales Representatives. Travel This position requires up to 75% travel. Frequently travel is outside the local area and overnight. Required Education and Experience At least three years of field sales experience. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Five plus years of sales experience within similar industry.
