Job Description

Demand & Supply Planning planner is be involved in the supply chain planning of OBFS business that includes demand & supply management, inventory management, other related activities that includes growth/support projects. The individual will work cross-functionally to develop and execute the demand plan while constructing a sound supply plan that maximizes customer service at an optimal cost-to-serve. The individual will collaborate the related functions across the value chain and lead the attainment of key supply chain planning performance metrics in customer service, forecast accuracy, inventory, and cost/budget.

Demand Management:

Perform demand analysis

and drive forecast accuracy through proven demand planning techniques including statistical modeling, consumption analysis, events management (e.g. launches & promotions), and collaborative planning & replenishment process, etc. Interact with cross-functional team and support system/process requirements to manage product life cycle including key events like acquisition/divestitures and new product innovations. Support category managers to achieve cross-functional focus, alignment, and synchronization of an integrated operating plan to achieve business and financial goals.

Supply Management:

Carry out supply plan , including local rework/redress, in collaboration with cross-functional teams & suppliers to support the demand plan and achieve customer service targets while meeting inventory goals. Track and communicate actively supply plan attainment and during supply constrained periods, initiate supply prioritization & develop action plan to minimize customer service impact. Ensure accurate supply chain parameters and data in related enterprise resource and supply chain planning systems. Partner with all related functions including Food Safety & Quality, Finance, Sourcing & Logistics, etc. to ensure product quality conformance, regulatory & financial compliance throughout the entire supply chain.

Inventory Management:

Provide support for inventory analysis

and drive reduction of short shelf life, excess, aging & obsolete stock to contribute to cash-flow improvements and profit optimization. Drive optimization of inventory in partnership with other functions.

Process & Operation Excellence:

Facilitate and support execution

of project assignments including new product introduction, compliance program, customer collaboration, cost improvement projects, and sustainability initiatives, etc.

Others:

Promotes and supports company mission, vision & cores values; policy & procedure; standards of ethics and social responsibility.

Qualifications

1-2 years of relevant supply chain management experience from a Retail/FMCG industry preferably

Good knowledge in integrated demand & supply planning process

Enterprise IT knowledge User-knowledge in SAP ERP and Advanced Planning with strong inclination towards IT adaptation to drive productivity and operation excellence

Have strong interpersonal and partnering skills; build consensus in achieving desired results and objectives.

Business acumen Good appreciation of business & financial principles and ability to translate commercial and customer strategies into supply chain operating goals

Analytic skills and problem Solving Meticulous and strong with numbers. Ability to convert insights from data analysis into diagnostic and solution

Communication skills Effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills. Can communicate with people from multiple business units at multiple levels.
