MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to secure and grow sustainable supply to support Abbott Nutrition’s growth in Pacific Asia, in alignment with Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain overarching strategies. Execute end-to-end supply chain initiatives including Network Strategy, Capacity Planning, Supply Planning, Third Party Manufacturing management, Procurement, Logistics, Margin & Profitability, and Program Management. The role also will create synergies within supply chain & logistics activities at the affiliates, currently reporting to the affiliate commercial organization, and will drive best practices and continuous improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive and implement strategies to secure and grow sustainable supply to support Abbott’s businesses including growing Abbott Nutrition’s manufacturing capabilities in region as well as Third Party Manufacturing.

Deliver continuous improvement across the Asia supply chain network to sustain operational excellence and best practices. Ensure Business Excellence principles are implemented into all areas.

Ensure a comprehensive and actionable Business Continuity Plan at affiliate level.

Generate and execute Margin & Profitability (M&P) programs in accordance with targets.

Build, support, and lead the relationships with key regional TPMs to drive quality compliance, business growth, and margin improvements.

Collaborate with Procurement and Manufacturing to enhance and improve reliable and efficient flow of raw materials to support production performance and cost efficiency.

Recommend and build a strong supply chain center of excellence and organization in Pacific Asia in order to prepare for long-term sustainable growth.

Determine system requirements and technologies needed to maintain and improve performance.

Enforce compliance of personnel with administrative policies, procedures, safety rules, and governmental regulations.

Serve as senior level representative on cross-organizational, cross-plant, cross-division, and corporate materials and operations initiatives.

A high degree of business judgment, interpersonal and communication skills with multiple functions, divisions, areas, and business units is required to successfully perform this role.

Superior influencing skills are required to effect decisions made by diverse disciplines.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 10 years of related experience required, including 5 years of management experience.

Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, Science, or Business or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities with direct applied experience in supply chain roles.

Interpersonal and communication skills with multiple functions, divisions, areas, and business units is required to successfully perform this role.

Team management experience required. Experience managing a team of project managers will be a plus.
