The role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to join our team as a Lending Program Manager. This role will be pivotal in driving increased lending volumes and optimizing the application funnel for SoFi and our investors. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage relationships with cross-functional teams and investors while optimizing key aspects of our lending programs.

What you'll do:

  • Investor Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, understanding their needs, concerns, and objectives.
    • Collaborate with investors to identify opportunities for increasing lending volumes and improving the application funnel.
  • Optimization Strategies:
    • Conduct comprehensive reviews of user experience, pricing models, approval rates, and marketing channels to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the application funnel.
  • Contract Renewals and Negotiations:
    • Manage contract renewals with investors, ensuring terms are favorable and aligned with organizational objectives.
    • Negotiate terms and conditions to maximize value for both parties.
  • Performance Reporting:
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to lending volumes, conversion rates, and investor satisfaction.
    • Prepare and present regular reports to stakeholders, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Support New Partnerships and Initiatives:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the development and implementation of new partnerships and initiatives.
    • Provide strategic guidance and support to ensure successful execution of approved projects.
  • Leadership and Influence:
    • Serve as an independent leader and contributor, driving initiatives forward without direct reports.
    • Utilize influence and persuasion to garner support for business objectives, revenue opportunities, and execution plans.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • Proven experience in investor relations, financial services, or related industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of driving results and achieving targets.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions, including marketing, engineering, product management, risk, pricing, finance, and operations.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
