Develop an understanding of the organization's procurement policies, procedures, and systems. Source, purchase, and coordinate delivery while working with Finance to ensure accurate pricing for transactions. Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers within the approved systems and developing procurement plans that meet organizational needs and objectives. Support negotiations with suppliers, including target pricing and turnaround time. Ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, organizational policies and customer contracts and statements of work. Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions and assist in developing and maintaining metrics to track procurement performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Purchase order placement according to demand in applicable system (examples include ERP, SAP, and SAGE). Expediting as applicable to ensure deliveries meet customer demand. Understanding both customer and internal flow downs and following processes flows accordingly. Supporting contract negotiations (pricing, terms, delivery). Working returns with internal VTC team customer and supplier RMA Assisting with any quality issues for suppliers. Working with accounting team on any discrepancies to resolve in a timely manner. Filing and maintaining clean records of all PO's, changes, customer/supplier PO's, confirmations, change confirmations, quotes. This may be done via SharePoint teams or another department-specific filing system. Recording any purchase price variances, requoting customer where needed. Tracking and logging all first articles. Updating program managers and planners with delivery changes Building extensive supplier knowledge and relations in support of our customer demands and requirements. SUCCESS CRITERIA Low errors or returned purchase orders from customers for amendment. Timely or expedited deliveries. ERP or applicable system records maintained to ensure accurate dates of both pricing and dates. Other metrics for success may include customer reports, scorecard metrics, SAGE reports with purchase order data, and error reports. KNOWLEDGE SKILLS EXPERIENCE OTHER

Prior education in related field a plus. Computer literacy, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) Time Management. Supply chain background or understanding strongly preferred. Prior office experience a plus. ERP/MRP experience highly preferred. Bonus: degree in related field or
