What are the Responsibilities?

  • Responding to requests for quotes promptly.
  • Issuing purchase orders based on requisitions and MRP notifications.
  • Planning jobs by analyzing bills of materials and integrating them into the MRP system.
  • Evaluating product lines to secure competitive pricing and delivery timelines while ensuring quality standards.
  • Monitoring purchase orders to guarantee timely supplier deliveries and maintaining accurate reporting.
  • Verifying that all received commodities meet company standards and negotiating with suppliers for replacements of non-conforming materials.

  • A minimum of two years of post-secondary education from an accredited institution or equivalent relevant experience; plus over three years of purchasing experience.

  • Capability to ensure orders are received in a timely manner.
  • Experience in directing material movement and logistics with a focus on efficiency.
