Responsibilities
  • Work under supervision of nursing and with full proficiency to perform all duties of a Clinical Support Specialist
  • Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collects specimens for lab tests
  • Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties
  • Perform technical procedures such as suture/staple removal, splinting of extremities, and performs ECGs as ordered
  • Coordinate daily activities for assigned unit to include general clerical and administrative support and participates in performance improvement activities to enhance and maintain personal and department qualifications and standards of performance
Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • High School or GED
  • Must have BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • 1+ years' experience in acute care or clinic
