A prominent leader in the logistics and transportation industry, based in South Jordan, UT, is seeking a highly adaptable and organized Logistics Administrator with fluency in Spanish to join their dynamic and collaborative team The Logistics Administrator will mainly be responsible for managing schedules, monitoring loads within the system, and collaborating with drivers, internal teams, and customers. Logistics Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Plan and manage trucking schedules using transportation management systems, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries while optimizing routes for efficiency
  • Build and monitor loads within the system, maintaining accurate records of shipment details, delivery times, and driver locations for seamless tracking and transparency
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates, addressing inquiries, and resolving any logistics-related concerns promptly
  • Communicate effectively with drivers through regular check-ins to relay critical information and ensure smooth transportation operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and dispatchers, to support account needs, resolve issues, and maintain operational flow
  • Address unforeseen logistics challenges, such as delays, reroutes, or equipment breakdowns, by implementing quick and effective problem-solving strategies
Logistics Administrator Requirements:
  • Fluency in Spanish for effective communication with Spanish-speaking clients
  • 1+ years of experience in logistics or transportation, with familiarity with industry terminology
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and transportation management software (training provided for McLeod TMS)
  • Strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a commitment to providing excellent service
  • Experience in scheduling, data entry, and rate quoting in a logistics or transportation environment preferred
