Job Responsibilities

Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Support the end-to-end recruitment process for Minnesota, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
  • Facilitate the new employee orientation and onboarding process.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Collaborate with the Accounting department to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leaves of absences, paid time off, and other programs.

Compliance:

  • Manage and maintain employee records and documentation, ensuring confidentiality and data security.
  • Maintain HR policies and procedures and ensure communication with all employees about updates.
  • Review and maintain employee training (safety) programs and videos.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance review process in partnership with leadership and department managers.
  • Assist in the preparation, collection of data, and accurate record keeping of employee performance records (e.g., PIPs, 30-60-90 day feedback plans)
  • Provide guidance to managers with template & guidelines for performance management activities.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers, addressing their concerns, inquiries, and resolving issues as needed.
  • Consult with the HR lead as needed for support. Promote a positive work culture and employee engagement through various initiatives (Monthly Newsletter, Birthday and Anniversary Recognition, Holiday lunches).

Work Experience & Education Requirements

Minimum:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of HR experience.
  • Computer literate, including MS Excel & Google
  • Must be able to effectively communicate (written and verbal) in English.

Preferred:

  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in an HR related field
