Responsibilities: Assist with all day-to-day benefits operations, including processing invoices, and resolving data issues Provide exceptional customer service to HR, internal customers, and vendors, answering benefit questions in a timely manner and resolving problems related to benefit plan eligibility and enrollment Perform monthly benefits reconciliations, including generating reports for auditing purposes to ensure the integrity of the data Work with benefit plan vendors, brokers, and consultants Coordinate open enrollment processes, to include communication strategies and employee education Manage all disability and leave of absence requests such as FMLA, short-term and long-term disability, personal, and medical Maintain FMLA/Leave of Absence records according to guidelines Assist with questions and provide information regarding to 401(k) and COBRA Process qualifying life events Maintain employee files and records relative to benefits Perform clerical and administrative activities, including filing Other duties as assigned

Qualifications: Required Education and Experience: Bachelors degree in human resources, finance, or related field OR combination of education and experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (benefits administration); exposure to self-insured plans preferred Familiarity with 401(k) administration and related regulation Strong understanding of employee benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and industry trends Solid experience and understanding of HRIS, Benefits Enrollment, and other web-based systems (required); Experience with ADP WorkForce Now a plus Computer Skills: MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Required Skills / Abilities: Demonstrated experience resolving benefit and leave-related issues Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate Strong customer support experience with health and welfare benefit plans Exceptional organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills Ability to maintain confidentiality Work Environment: Office Environment and/or Remote

Physical Demands: This job requires the ability to sit, stand, lift and/or move.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Monday through Friday 8 hours a day; at times more than 8 hours.

Travel: Minimal
