Position Overview:
Radiology Specialists is in search of a meticulous and experienced Patient Benefits Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient insurance eligibility and benefits through various channels.
- Calculate and present accurate Time of Service Estimates.
- Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology and maintain high proficiency in standard medical office practices, including adherence to HIPAA regulations.
- Relay any changes or trends in insurance to the team effectively.
- Maintain productivity levels that meet departmental standards.
- Document all interactions and communications with healthcare providers and personnel according to established documentation protocols.
- Request clinical or medical records as necessary.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in verification processes is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in organizing and interpreting data.
- Capable of exercising sound judgment in problem-solving scenarios.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficient in using computers, relevant software applications, and managing multiple screens.
- Flexibility to work onsite or remotely as required.
