y Responsibilities:

The Business Development Manager: Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. Plan and implement business development initiatives based on company’s development strategy and market surveys. Achieve sales targets with respect to revenue growth and sales efficiency (increase existing and new business) Locates or proposes potential business by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities, while also managing existing customer relationships Works closely with Operations team to create customer development strategies, align company capabilities to market requirements and recommend resource investments Organize various marketing activities and participate in industry conferences and exhibitions. Frequent business travel to visit existing and potential clients in the region. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Optics/Physics/Electrical/Telecom or engineering is preferred. 5+ years of sales experience in related industries (telecommunications/Optics) Familiar with optical industry, full understanding of optoelectronic products (such as crystal, precision optical components, optical communication devices, at least some of them) in various fields. Be able to provide a solution and ensure a positive customer experience. Must be comfortable with lead generation, prospecting and calling into Engineering, Purchasing and Executive levels at prospective accounts. Strong history with building relationships at all levels of OEM customers, with an ability to identify new areas of opportunity. Track Record of Achieving Revenue and New Business goals. Strong Communication skills (in English). Well versed in all MS/Office Applications, especially Powerpoint, Excel Have a strong work ethic, team spirit and customer orientation.

Job Competencies: An effective communicator with customers, executives, peers, and subordinates. Demonstrate alacrity, attention to detail and effectiveness. Technical competencies in Optics, Physics, Telecom, Laser processes, and documentation Highly Motivated Prospecting Skills (Hunter), Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Territory Management, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism.
