Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global's modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.
Position Overview:
The Treasury Associate will work in the Treasury division, reporting to the Treasury Manager. The Treasury division is responsible for the oversight of cash, investments, debt, and hedging instruments. The Treasury Associate will be responsible for executing cash transactions, managing cash account positions, and supporting the core treasury operations while maintaining internal controls at all times. The Treasury division continuously works with the Treasurer, CFO, and CEO.
Position Responsibilities:
* Execute domestic and international daily cash management and banking duties, including execution of wire and ACH transfers, cash positioning, payment issue resolution and banking platform management
* Prepare the daily cash position in the Treasury Management System (TMS), advise internally on short-term cash management and coordinate the daily cash flow and funding needs
* Support the short-term cash forecasting process
* Maintain bank account documentation with partner banks, to include opening/closing requirements, signatory updates, KYC etc.
* Support monthly and year-end accounting and treasury close processes
* Support external and internal audit requests and inquiries
* Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required
Required Skills / Abilities:
* Impeccable attention to detail
* Excellent communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
* Adaptable and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Able to operate effectively in both a team environment and working independently
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Technology savvy with demonstrated ability to learn systems and processes quickly
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, or a closely related field
* No prior experience required
